C.i.i. Food Service Design, founded in 1979, is a Midwestern‑based food facilities design and consulting firm offering a complete variety of services including feasibility studies, programming, spatial analysis, layout, contract drawings, specifications, construction review services, final punch list, and so on. C.i.i. is not an equipment dealer, accepts no compensation from equipment manufacturers, and derives no benefit from the sale or specification of any equipment, but acts solely on behalf of the client to provide an objectively designed, competitively bid, and functionally efficient facility.

We are accustomed to and embrace our role as expert and expediter to help ensure that the food service design solution not only responds to the requirements of the owner but also incorporates seamlessly into the overall design effort, including the needs of the other design disciplines. This helps minimize construction questions and issues while insuring that the Owner receives the best possible facility available.
Through extensive design experience nationally and internationally with various types of projects, our clients receive a complete range of accurate assessment, recommendation, and review options. C.i.i. Food Service Design has provided consulting services for all sizes and most types of food service operations from small family restaurants and snack bars to large correctional facilities and major cook‑chill production centers. We have also provided document production and on-site survey and punch list assistance to other consulting firms for multiple major university and professional sports arenas and stadiums, overseas military facilities, and business/industry/collegiate cafeterias.
Long standing close associations with other specialty firms allow us to provide or refer food service management and operations consulting, as well as other unique services as may be required for a particular project.
